The latest djDecks DX beta is required to use this device.
Go to Menu->Options->MIDI
There you should see the Typhoon listed (not the one with HID - in front)
Click it and select vestax_typhoon.xml
The faders, PFL button, equalizer and gain control the output for each of the decks.
The Cue and Play buttons will play and cue the track by default. In combination with shift, Cue and CUP can be used to seek forward or backward in the track, shift and play can be used to return to the start of the track.
A 4-beat loop can be started using the Loop button. The loop length can be adjusted using the + and - buttons.
When the filter button is activated, the jog wheels can be used to control the filter effect.
When de-activating the filter, the filter will be reset.
FX1 will activate the flanger on deck 1, FX2 will activate the flanger on deck 2.
The FX1 knob controls the strength of the echo on deck 1, the FX2 knob controls the strength of the echo on deck 2.
Scroll through the list with the browser up/down buttons. Clicking the song list button will switch the active list between folders, files and current playlist.
To open a selected folder, press the Load button of any of the decks.
To load a selected song, press the Load button on the deck you want to load the song on.
