Configuration - Controller
i-Mix
To use the DJ-Tech controllers, you have to activate them in the configuration.
To do this, open the options window, and select the General tab.
There, activate the Midi checkbox, and click the 'XML Config' button next to it.
Now select DJ-Tech controller from the list, and select the correct xml configuration from the drop-down box.
Finally, click 'Connect' to connect the device.
Play/Pause and Cue buttons work as expected, depending on cue mode configuration.
Use the Jog Wheel for scratching or pitch bending (toggle with the scratch button.
Use the Pitch Slider to adjust the pitch up or down. This slider is relative to the current pitch.
The Auto BPM button will match the bpm with the bpm of the other deck when pressed short.
Hold the button pressed for a second to reset the pitch to 0%.
Use Auto-Mix to start the song on the other deck and fade to it.
Set + Auto-Mix will toggle autoplay mode.
Loop In sets the Loop In point, and when you press Loop Out a loop is created.
Press Loop Out again to decrease the loop length, or Reloop to exit the loop.
Press Reloop again to re-activate the previous loop.
Use Loop In + Jog Wheel to move the loop forwards or backwards.
Use 1, 2, 3 buttons to load a stored cue point and start playing.
Use Set + 1,2,3 to store the current position in one of the cue slots.
Monitor will toggle the headphone output on or off.
Equalizer knobs, kill switches and volume faders will work as expected.
